Potrero Hill, San Francisco
Potrero Hill was once considered a remote, undeveloped, working class area. While the area has since been “discovered” with a growing number of loft and condominium real estate properties, its quaint neighborhood charm has remained.
Potrero Hill’s shopping district is located on 18th Street (with more stores opening on 20th Street). Here you’ll find unique restaurants, cafes and boutiques, including Chez Papa, Aperto, Umi, Eliza’s, Farley’s Coffee, Goat Hill Pizza, Ruby Wine, Pinkies Nail Salons and Christopher’s Books. You’ll also find great clubs, like Bottom of the Hill, Thee Parkside and Club Cocomo (and consider taking a tour of the Anchor Steam Brewery).

The residents of Potrero Hill are very active in their community. There are
good websites dedicated to local commerce,
and one or two community
websites that will keep you up-to-date on the area. And check out a short movie
about the Potrero Hill and Bernal Heights here.
