Alex’s love for San Francisco drew him to the real estate market early on, where his reputation grew quickly in the commercial real estate world. Like many of his fellow agents, Alex pursued big clients and big deals. In those situations he had to hold his breath while someone he’d been working with for months finally reached a decision – one that would either break the bank, or break his heart. One day he began to look at the other end of that spectrum.
“Forty percent of all San Francisco commercial real estate is under 6,000 square feet,” he says now. “And small office spaces, the ones that the other brokers passed by, are everywhere.
“Small business owners, not mega-corporations are the true driving force of this market. Small business is the heart of San Francisco,” says Alex. He has gone on to prove it by building a very successful business in just this sector. “There’s always plenty of work, and small business owners are much nicer people to work with.”
