Tom Brown, CEO Mr. Brown’s career encompasses over 25 years of experience
in real estate and financial services. Prior to Urban Bay Properties
he has held CEO and senior executive positions with Merrill
Lynch, Centerbank Inc., and PMI Mortgage Insurance. At Merrill
Lynch he was intimately involved with the expansion of Merrill
Lynch Relocation Management and the startup of Merrill Lynch
Realty, a full service real estate firm operating residential
and commercial brokerage activities in all major US markets.
Mr. Brown, in addition to real estate brokerage, has had direct
experience managing operations engaged in mortgage banking/banking,
investment banking, new home construction, insurance, equipment
leasing and retail/wholesale merchandising. He is a former Director
and Executive Committee Member of the Mortgage Bankers Association
of America and is currently a Director of Redwood Trust, a publicly
traded Real Estate Investment Trust.

Ray is one of the most experienced new development real estate
specialists in the Bay Area. As a native San Franciscan who
started in real estate in 1968, he has owned his own brokerage
firm and has been a residential and commercial developer in
the North Bay, East Bay and Atlanta, GA.
Working with his partner Gail Stark, he managed sales at key
San Francisco developments, including 601 4th Street, 355 Bryant
Street and The ClockTower. Ray has managed the sales of over
50 new loft and condominium developments in the San Francisco
Bay Area.
Aman Daro, Vice President of
Marketing
With a background in consumer marketing, Aman brings a wealth
of online and offline branding experience to the real estate
market. He has over a decade’s worth of experience working
with advertising agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Needham
and J. Walter Thompson on powerhouse clients like Procter &
Gamble, Clorox, General Mills and Sun Microsystems. At Urban
Bay Properties he combines refined branding skills with a structured,
ROI-driven marketing process, providing clients with a wealth
of strategic positioning, data analysis and online and offline
marketing techniques. He has a California real estate license
(non-practicing) and has overseen marketing for over 18 new
developments.
